SatNav Users

If you click on the red marker you will get a pop-up window with our Latitude(+57.53) and Longitude(-4.22) and our National Grid reference number(NH672511). Either of these co-ordinates should be used for satellite navigators. Our postcode will take you to a location about 1000 metres to the southwest of where we really are.

Verbal Directions

If you are coming from Glasgow or Edinburgh the shortest route is to make for Perth and then take the A9 road north to Inverness. If you are coming from other directions you will no doubt, have your own map and be able to navigate to Inverness.

From Inverness, take the A9 north over the Kessock Bridge towards Wick. One mile past the bridge, filter left towards North Kessock, Drumsmittal and Kilmuir. This will take you to a round-about. Take the exit from the roundabout, signposted to Drumsmittal, Kilmuir and Inverness. This road goes under the A9 dual-carriageway. Soon after you have passed under the A9 take a sharp left turn to Drumsmittal and Kilmuir.

Travel up this road for 250 yards and take a right turn to Kilmuir. Follow the road for a mile, through woodland until you come to a T junction with a right turn to Kilmuir. DO NOT take the right turn but carry straight on for 150 yards to another T junction.  Keep straight on, passing Drynie Woodlands Farm on your left, for a further mile until you come to a fork in the road. Take the right fork, uphill. Craigiewood is the first on the left up an unmade drive.

If you are coming from the North you must turn left off the A9 dual-carriageway at the North Kessock junction and almost immediately right towards Drumsmittal and Kilmuir. Thereafter directions are the same as in the paragraph above.
