On this and following pages we suggest some excursions from Craigiewood that can all be completed comfortably in a day.
West Car Tour
This tour takes you to the Wester Ross and its stunning coast-line. There is a shorter route of 157 miles and a longer one of 209 miles. The map shows the routes with links to some of the natural and man-made features you might like to see, as well as links to places you might like to take refreshment.
North West Car Tour
This route takes you into the remoter parts of north west Ross-shire and west Sutherland. It is 135 miles long and there are a number of interesting and attractive detours you can take.
South West Car Tour
A tour to the south west of Craigiewood, taking in Loch Ness, the attractive village of Plockton, Eilean Donan Castle and the Bridge to Skye. It is about 160 miles long, most of it on good roads.
